Fall/Winter Workshops

BMK Bonsai is dedicated to bringing you new and interesting bonsai experiences. We have updated and expanded our facilities and are creating a series of workshops to make it happen.

Since our storage and classroom facilities are new and improved, we're providing a great opportunity to take care of those fall and winter bonsai chores. Here are some reasons to sign on:

  1. A great space to work on your trees in a heated indoor workroom, make a mess, and not have to worry about sweeping up;
  2. A gret bunch of people to hang out with who can always be counted on to share their ideas, insight, and experience; a chance to scratch that bonsai itch even more than you already do; and generally have a good time, but not always so clean fun;
  3. A great place for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced bonsai artist to create and network;
  4. Tools provided for your use;
  5. Pre-mixed soil, soil components, pots, wire, and screen provided; a place to dump stuff and a clean comfortable, well-lit work area; and
  6. At least two reasonably experienced (over 25 years combined) bonsai artists on hand at all times to cheerfully provide general assistance and technical guidance.

Workshop fee is only $20.00 for a single session; $65.00 for four sessons. All major credit cards accepted. (Workshop cost does not include plant material or supplies. Please bring along your own gloves and masks if you need them.)

Store five or more trees with us and the first session is free (a $20.00 value).

Workshops take place every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
(However, workshops will not take place during the holidays.)

Come one come all...you don't have to attend the workshop to come and enjoy the trees or shop for supplies! Visitors are always welcome!

NOTE: We encourage your input on evening workshops, specie-specific workshops, collecting field trips, or other idea's you may have that would enhance your bonsai experience.
